Today saw the signing of a sponsorship agreement between acesa and abertis and Teià Municipal Council to a value of 45,000 for the first stages of the archaeological work on the remains at Vallmora (Teià), which consist in the re-excavation and delimitation of structures (readied) the provisional enclosure of the site (under way) and the covering of the remains (awaiting execution). This financial contribution, made effective today, will allow for the definitive covering of the ancient wine estates remains, compatible with the partial architectural restoration of the 1st-century AD pressing rooms....

Midday today saw the inauguration of the new Montserrat Choir School stairway-museum, which has been subsidised by the infrastructure corporation abertis. The event was attended by the Abbot of Montserrat, Josep M. Soler, who was accompanied by the abertis Managing Director Salvador Alemany, the corporations Company Secretary Joan Artur Margenat, the Director of Institutional Relations and Quality Ricard Maxenchs and the Manager of the Fundació Castellet del Foix, Sagrario Huelin, in addition to Josep Sinca, the Director-General of the Fundació Abadia de Montserrat 2025, the Foundation which traditionally receives the subsidies from the corporation. ...

Abertis Infraestructuras, the infrastructures management corporation resulting from the merger of Acesa and Aurea, will be included for the first time in the selective Dow Jones Stoxx Sustainability index, made up of 178 companies from 13 European countries. The changes in the index will be effective from 22 September. The selection is made from those companies included in the Dow Jones Stoxx 600, one of the stock indexes of reference internationally...

The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and the infrastructures corporation abertis have created the abertis chair in Transport Infrastructure Management, whose director is the UPC Professor of Transport Francesc Robusté. The goal of the new chair, created as part of the framework agreement between the UPC and abertis, is to carry out training, research, innovation and information activities related to the planning and management of transport infrastructures and services....
