The objective of this book is to publicize the network in greater depth, give visibility to the Biosphere Reserves, contribute to consolidate the MedMaB and boost the relationship between the reserves of the different Mediterranean countries. It includes detailed information on the Biosphere Reserves belonging to the MedMaB, discovering the particularities of each reserve at an ecological, sociological and cultural level, and highlighting its specific role in the protection of socio-ecological heritage.
