The system consists of an innovative new wheelchair created by the Centro de Investigaciones Mecánicas (CIM, the Mechanical Research Centre) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), with the support of abertis, and which was launched this morning in Barcelona. Today saw the signing of a sponsorship agreement between acesa and abertis and Teià Municipal Council to a value of 45,000 for the first stages of the archaeological work on the remains at Vallmora (Teià), which consist in the re-excavation and delimitation of structures (readied) the provisional enclosure of the site (under way) and the covering of the remains (awaiting execution). This financial contribution, made effective today, will allow for the definitive covering of the ancient wine estates remains, compatible with the partial architectural restoration of the 1st-century AD pressing rooms....

Midday today saw the inauguration of the new Montserrat Choir School stairway-museum, which has been subsidised by the infrastructure corporation abertis. The event was attended by the Abbot of Montserrat, Josep M. Abertis Infraestructuras, the infrastructures management corporation resulting from the merger of Acesa and Aurea, will be included for the first time in the selective Dow Jones Stoxx Sustainability index, made up of 178 companies from 13 European countries.
