Residents of the nine municipalities of which the Parc de Collserola forms a part and who use it are more than satisfied with their city park. Most of them see this protected natural area covering 8,000 hectares as an ideal place in which to combine protection and enjoyment of nature with leisure activities.

• The vast majority of convictions are for driving without a licence or under the influence of alcohol, according to Bartolomé Vargas, the public prosecutor responsible for road safety.
• The president of the association of victims of traffic accidents, Maria Eugenia Domènech, called for an office to support family members of those killed in accidents. She described these relatives as “the other victims”, some of them “scarred for life”.
