The International Centre for Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves (UNESCOMED) is pleased to welcome Alba Ruiz Lopez as a trainee student during the period from July to October 2026.
Alba is currently studying for a Higher Vocational Diploma in Marketing and Advertising at Escola Montserrat. During her internship at UNESCOMED, she will contribute to the development of the Centre’s Communication Plan, an important initiative aimed at strengthening the visibility, positioning and dissemination of the Centre’s activities and achievements.
As part of her work, Alba will analyse the organisation’s current communication practices and prepare proposals to enhance outreach and engagement with key audiences. Her contribution will support UNESCOMED’s ongoing efforts to promote the values and objectives of Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves and to increase awareness of the Centre’s mission.
“Joining UNESCOMED is a great opportunity to apply the knowledge I have gained during my studies to a real project while learning first-hand about the work of a UNESCO-related institution. I am excited to contribute to increasing the visibility of the Centre’s activities and to continue growing both professionally and personally through this experience,” says Alba Ruiz.
At UNESCOMED, we are committed to supporting young talent and fostering learning opportunities that connect education with practical experience. We are delighted to have Alba join our team and look forward to working together over the coming months.
Welcome to UNESCOMED, Alba! We wish you a rewarding and enriching internship experience.
