This June saw the third worst ever flooding in the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina, Brazil, where the Abertis Group operates 3 toll roads through its subsidiary Arteris (Planalto Sul, Litoral Sul and Régis Bittencourt). Straight away, the Abertis Foundation started channelling the donations made by its employees from all over the world to show their support for their Brazilian colleagues.

David Díaz, CEO of Arteris, presented two cheques to the value of €25,000 that will be distributed to employees who were affected by the floods.

As soon as word got out about the flooding, Arteris took all the necessary steps, mobilizing teams of volunteers to deliver resources and assistance to the affected areas and helping to move the furniture and belongings of displaced families.
