The Abertis Foundation has, for yet another year running, calculated and offset the carbon footprint generated by the activities at its Castellet Castle headquarters, continuing the carbon management strategy it began in 2008. Its 2015 calculations, based on ISO 14064-1:2012 and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, have taken into account the CO2 emissions generated by using petrol, gas-oil and electricity; by travelling for conferences and guided visits; by using water, paper and toners; and by treating the waste produced throughout the year. The Abertis Foundation’s carbon footprint has been reduced by 1.22 tCO2e in 2015 compared with the previous year, which represents a 3% reduction during the financial year.
