Saleem Haddad is a young researcher who won the UNESCO MAB Young Scientist Award for his work focusing on the Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves. He is studying at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE) and accomplished his master's thesis in collaboration with the International Center for the Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves (UNESCOMED centre). He defines himself as a descendant of a Mediterranean family.
