With the aim of publicizing the lines of research being carried out by researchers attached to the University of Lleida (UdL), every year the UdL actively participates in the activities of the European Night of Researchers.

The European Researchers' Night offers all interested citizens the opportunity to meet and interact with the people who do science and technology for the well-being of society and thus move towards a more sustainable future.

In the 2022 edition, some researchers from the Center for Forest Science and Technology of Catalonia (CTFC) have agreed to explain, first-hand, what their research consists of and have participated in various activities organized by the UdL. Among them, Dr. Romera, a CTFC researcher, has presented the work of the UNESCOMED Center (International Center for Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves) in relation to network research in Mediterranean BRs and the International University Campus for Mediterranean BRs.
