Within the framework of the International University Campus for Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves, the UNESCOMED Center in collaboration with the managers of the Terres de l'Ebre RB and professors from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) have received at the Terres de l'Ebre RB Ebre (RBTE), from November 4 to 6, to four groups of students of the Degree in Environmental Sciences of the UAB.
Coinciding with the celebration, on November 3, of the first International Day of UNESCO Biosphere Reserves, four groups of UAB students carry out their final degree projects at the RBTE, where they will pursue studies ranging from the interpretation of landscapes burned and the resulting environmental, social and economic consequences, to the sampling of biodiversity in river islands or the social perception of the most common invasive species in the Ebro delta.
