abertis participated in the “Second Meeting of Young Ibero-American Leaders”, a conference organised by the Carolina Foundation in Salvador, the capital of the north-eastern Brazilian state of Bahia. Between the 20th and 22nd of September, and under the title The Future: Innovation and Entrepreneurship, 125 young leaders from every Ibero-American country met to speak with various representatives from top Spanish companies.
Sergi Loughney, Director of the abertis foundation, participated in the Investments that Benefit Everybody round-table discussion, in which the following topics were discussed: conditions for promoting public and private investment, legal certainty, public funds and entrepreneurial commitments. Antonio Carlos Valente, President of Telefónica Brazil, and Amadeo Petitbó, Director of the Rafael del Pino Foundation, took part in the discussion, with the latter acting as moderator.
The Carolina Foundation was established by the Spanish government in 2000 in order to strengthen educational, cultural and scientific relations between Spain and Ibero-America.
