Students of the Campus on Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves gather to share research and build synergies

Students, experts, and supervisors of the International University Campus for Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves came together on March 12 for a vibrant research seminar.

The session sparked new collaborations, aligned methodologies, and strengthened links with ongoing research lines at the Center and across the MedMAB network.

On March 12, the International University Campus for Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves hosted a collaborative seminar bringing together all students currently developing their Bachelor’s and Master’s Theses, or PhD research. The event was also attended by the Center’s scientific and technical team, along with the supervisors guiding each academic project, creating a rich environment for dialogue and co-learning.

The aim of the seminar was to provide students with a platform to present the progress of their research and receive constructive feedback from peers and experts. The session allowed for meaningful exchanges on the diverse methodologies being applied, fostering coherence among projects and ensuring scientific robustness across the campus’s research activities.

Valuable synergies emerged not only among the students’ work but also between their research lines and those currently being developed by the Center and the broader MedMAB network. These connections reinforced the collaborative spirit of the campus and highlighted opportunities for interdisciplinary integration.

This semester, the Campus collaborates with the following studies:
